When used correctly, yeast increases the quality and volume of the crop: it accelerates the process of root formation and growth of the plants themselves, ensures good survival in new soil during transplantation, and saves seedlings from fungal diseases. Ripe vegetables after such a diet are large, rich in taste and beautiful appearance.

Should you use other fertilizers at the same time as yeast?

Unlike modern methods of gardening, yeast is environmentally friendly and does not contain chemical impurities. It is a self-sufficient fertilizer that does not tolerate competitors. If you use other means "to enhance the effect", it will turn out to be the opposite - the healing properties of yeast will decrease or disappear. All additional feeds are prohibited: chemical, organic, mineral.

How does yeast help plants?

The secret of the remedy in its composition is that the waste of fungi and other microorganisms is extremely useful for the soil, increasing its fertility several times. Yeast is full of micro and macro elements, polysaccharides, amino acids, and other useful components. The nitrogen contained in them is easily assimilated by the soil, and the emitted carbon dioxide is the most delicious treat for most fruit and vegetable crops. Especially for cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers and strawberries.

What can and cannot be used to prepare top dressing?

Any yeast is suitable to create top dressing - baker's, alcoholic, dry, pressed. But they are suitable only when fresh, in the absence of the smell of decomposition.

The exception is fast-acting yeast, which can harm plants.

In cool water, yeast ferments too slowly, in hot water it can die. Therefore, before preparing top dressing, it is advisable to warm up the water to about 35-40 degrees.

3 ways to make yeast feed

There are many cooking recipes, here are the top three most popular. Before watering, all three mixtures must be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10.

  • Recipe number 1: dilute 5-7 liters of water with a kilogram of raw yeast. Use the solution to feed seedlings or young seedlings.
  • Recipe No. 2: mix until completely dissolved 10 liters of water, a pound of sugar, 120 g of yeast - 100 g dry and 20 g wet. The resulting mixture should be infused for three days at a warm temperature. Ready indicators: cloudy color, appearance of foam and sediment.
  • Recipe number 3: add 100 g of yeast and 90-100 g of sugar to 10 liters of water, leave for 24 hours. Separately prepare a solution from wood ash by diluting it with water in a ratio of 1 liter per bucket of water. Next, you need to mix 1 liter of the resulting liquid with the same amount of yeast solution.

It is better to water in the evening, when the weather is warm and calm. Then the soil will be maximally enriched with useful substances and will become a first-class springboard for crop seedlings!
